As American Jews and supporters of Israel, we join the American Jewish Congress in writing to you with hearts full of gratitude, pride, and love.

On October 7, the Hamas terrorist organization carried out a massacre of unimaginable cruelty against innocent Israelis. In the face of that evil, you carried the weight of an entire nation on your shoulders and defended not only Israel’s borders but the very heart of the Jewish people.

Your bravery and sacrifice have given life to the promise of NEVER AGAIN. You have shown the world that Israel will never bow to terror, that the Jewish spirit cannot be broken, and that the defense of freedom and human dignity is worth every act of courage.

We thank you for protecting the Jewish homeland, for your continued fight to bring home every hostage, for restoring hope to a grieving nation, and for defending not only Israel’s safety but the safety and future of Jews everywhere. We know the price you have paid—the sleepless nights, the empty chairs, the loved ones waiting and worrying. We HONOR you, and we carry you in our prayers every day.

To the wounded, to the fallen, to every soldier in the field, and to every family who waits for their return, your courage humbles us and your heroism unites us. AM YISRAEL CHAI!
